3rd international urban sketching symposium

I learned yesterday that I am the recipient of the 2012 symposium correspondent scolarship.

I’m already dancing “Merengue” celebrating this chance to be the “symposium correspondent”!
I’m so honoured to be the eyes of the urban sketchers readers, telling them through my sketches all what will happen during this 3 intense days. I will do my best to make them feel being part of the adventure, reporting workshops, conferences and reactions from the instructors and participants, and of course about the beauty of Santo Domingo. See you in a month from now!

new book "lapin à istanbul" ***contest***

after the launching last week in istanbul, it's time to organise the traditional "lapin-lottery"!
this new book is a 6 days promenade in istanbul, from the trip I made last year. the result is a 70 pages luxury edition (offset print, hard cover, gold stamping title and round corners).
louise will pick up 5 names from the comments of this post, to win a dedicate copy.

book launch in istanbul report

some pictures of the book launch in milk gallery last thursday night, thanks to the milk crew for the cool evening there.

some limited edition bags and posters are still available in milk for a month, and "lapin à istanbul" is already on sale in robinson crusoe 389 bookstore, salt gallery and edisyon concept store in istanbul.
it will be soon available in barcelona and on my online store.

I'm leaving for istanbul for the launching of my new facsimile sketchbook "lapin à istanbul" at milk gallery next thursday night.
I will let you know more about this book once back, and of course will organize a lapin-lottery to win some copies…

during the week there, I will meet urban sketchers zaza and pef to give a workshop together to the istanbul international community school, and that sounds very cool.
I'm very exciting to sketch again istanbul with good friends.
